This mani is the kind of mani that I do when I do want to do something to difficult & long or when I don’t have any imagination. This kind of mani is really efficient, like you don’t put a lot of time in but it looks great anyway. I guess that the answer when you don’t have the time to do a sophisticated mani is triangles.
For this mani, I used three types of nail polishes finishes. The base is a creme nail polish. The dark nail polish that I used to outline the triangles is a metallic nail polish and the silver nail polish that I used to do the triangles is holographic nail polish. It’s kinda funny to mix up three types of nail polishes finishes.

For this nail art, I made some purple gradients. On the top of this gradient, I made some patterns with a white nail polish. My ring fingernail looks like : “hey, I’m living my own life. I don’t have the same design as you”. This fingernail seems to not belong to this mani haha. I don’t know, I didn’t do triangles like for the other nails and it kinda stressed me out because I didn’t know if I had to remake it or not. At the end, I left it like that because I found it good anyway.
Oh, and I love how funny the name of this Essie’s nail polish is! "Under Where", this is so clever haha.

It’s been a long time since I did a chevrons manicure, so here it is! The last time that I did a chevrons manicure, I made these special chevrons. So for this nail art, I made a gradient with two different shades of purple and a pink nail polish. The pink nail polish is so pretty! On the top of this gradient, I made some chevrons with a holographic nail polish. I love using holographic nail polishes, it’s like putting magic on my nails!

I don’t do accent nails very often because I like when there is designs on all my nails or at least if there is no designs, I like to put some glitters but some simplicity can’t be bad. So here is my nail art! For this nail art, I wear a blue nail polish on my index and pinky fingernails, an orange nail polish on my middle fingernail and I did a tiny nail art on my ring fingernail.

Oh gosh, this gradient was the most tricky gradient that I’ve ever done. The purple nail polish wasn’t opaque so it was pretty difficult to do a gradient with. But these two colors look good together, I think. The green color kinda makes me think about an ice cream, a pistachio ice cream (something very interesting about me : I have never eaten a pistachio ice cream, very interesting uh ?). I know it’s not the season for ice cream but this is always a good time for ice cream, no ?!
On the top of this green/purple gradient, I made some white patterns (I think you begin to be used to haha).

Patterns over a gradient, again and always! This is my favorite kind of design. So this time I used some blue and two different shades of purple to make the gradient. Over this gradient, I made some patterns with white nail polish.

Take your rules! Just kidding, this nail art is a geometric nail art. There is lines and triangles. There is some lines that go through others lines and triangles below lines. You see, it’s brainteaser like geometry lol. When you do that kind of nail art, you understand that your geometric classroom can be useful. The lines have to be straight, so it was not that easy to do. For this nail art, I used a high brand nail polish! It’s the first time of my life that I use a high brand nail polish. I just own two high brands nail polishes, this beige nail polish by Yves Saint Laurent and “April” (my birthday month lol) by Chanel. I used this nail polish from Yves Saint Laurent, it’s the beige one that you can see one my pointer and middle fingernails.
By the way, to anyone who celebrates the chinese new year : HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! I wish you happiness, prosperity and that all your dreams come true. I’m vietnamese, so I celebrate this monkey’s year with my beloved parents.

I love everything about this nail art : dots, bow & pink! I have to say that I love bows, I don’t wear any in my hair but I love draw them on my nails. It always looks cute, I think. Pink is obviously my favorite color, it’s probably the color whose I own the most of nail polishes with the purple (the rack where I store my purple and pink nail polishes is full *blushing*). The dots are simple to do but so great looking. But let’s be honest, the dots are simple to do but the most difficult thing about the dots is to place them on the nail. They shouldn’t be to close from each other, not so far too and they have to be properly aligned. But don’t worry, training is the answer!

I guess this nail art is a winter version of this nail art that I did during this summer. On my index and my pinky fingernails, I put a gold glitters dots at the bottom. On my middle fingernail, I made some white chevrons on a pinkish nude color. On the top of these chevrons, I made some red flowers. And on my ring fingernail, I made an accent nail using gold nail polish and gold glitters nail polish. I used darker colors for this nail art to be more in line with this season. For my summer nail art, I used orange, pink and a light green nail polish for the leaves. For this nail art, I used a deep red (by the way, this is the name of this nail polish “Deep Red” by Maybelline. At least, the name of this nail polish isn’t untruthful), a gold nail polish with a gold glitters nail polish and a deep green for the leaves.
You can note that I don’t have studs or stuff like that so I just put a dot of nail polish (with glitters preferably) to create the illusion that I used them in my mani. I think that it’s cool anyway, the nail is less empty with that dot of color at the bottom. I used this magical illusion in this manicure too. It can be a trick for people who don’t have a lot of materials for nail art. When you see a nail art using studs on internet that you want to reproduce on your nails but you don’t have studs, you can use this trick : you can put a dots of nail polish instead. It’s not that bling bling like a stud but it works anyway. The good things is that you don’t have to be afraid that the stud fall off because you have none lol.
