SMILEY FLOWERS ~

I find this nail art so cute! I was inspired by a DIY that JenerationDIY did on her YouTube Channel in which she was painting some smiley flowers on transparent disks. They were so cute that I decided to do them on my nails. The flowers kinda look like eggs lol.

For the background, I tried to do like a marble effect with purple, orange and nude polishes. I added some touch of gold and and a coat of shimmer polish.

I really liked this wavy design that I did weeks ago so I decided to do it again and add some flowers. I’m not that fond of the final result. Maybe the flowers are too big lol.

QUARTER-LIFE CRISIS ? ~

25 years of being a BAD!!! (bitch), I can’t believe it lol. 25 years and 2 birthdays in quarantine, yay thanks miss Corona!! But it was pretty good anyway, friends’ gift (thank you btw if you’re reading this), a good chocolate cake with the parents and that one coworker who sings happy birthday every time you have her on the phone (working from home vibes). Honestly, it’s always the little things that make me happy. 

Like for my 24th birthday, I did number candles. Last year, I literally hated them and keep them no more than 2 days but I think I did ok this year. I’m gonna keep them a lil longer than last year lol. Yeah I tried to do them again even tho it was a completely fail last year. I’m an Aries, I never surrender lol. I should probably thanks that new nail art brush that I’m using. I can do very thin lines with it. It’s always great to see that you can still improve your craft even tho you’re doing it for quite a while.

ARTSY VIBES ~

I see a lot of nail art like this these days with abstract art vibes. Normally, it’s not really my kind of designs but I wanted to give it a try to step out of my comfort zone I guess. If I don’t do it irl, at least I'm doing it for my nails lol. I’m quite happy with the final result. The colors look great together.

At first, I wasn’t quite sure about the chevrons but I like how the mani turned out. I find it really cute.

So I did chevrons on my pointer, middle and pinky fingernails using pastel colors then I did a little chick as an accent nail.
