There is a story behind this nail art lol. So here it’s the story time : at first, I wanted to try the DIY that HelloMaphie showed on her Youtube Channel. She showed a weird nail art hack using CDs. So you’re looking at my nails and you ask to yourself : “where is the CDs?” They are not there lol. In her video, she showed how to do shattered glass nail art with CDs. She explains that you have to cut the CDs and in there you’ll find (normally) a holographic paper but I didn’t find it lol. I cut like 4 CDs and I didn’t find that holographic paper. It was very late at night so I said to myself : “you can’t cut 100 CDs for a nail art” and instead of using CDs I used aluminium. I remembered that Tartofraises used aluminium in one of her mani so I did too! This is not the effect that I wanted at first but I find the mani funny lol. DIY are really not made for me. I didn’t keep this manicure a long time because the aluminium begun to peel off.
But the pink nail polish is very pretty, no ?

I didn’t make water marble since this mani. So it was a pretty longtime since I made a water marble that why I felt the urge to do one. But water marble nails seem a good idea until you have nail polish all over your hands and that your fingers are wet. I did my best with these nails, it’s not that bad lol. I tried to do striped water marble.

I got some ethnic vibes for you! These colors together make me think about a hippie/bohemian dress that you can wear at Coachella (this is a pure coincidence, I swear!).
For this nail art, I used the dry brush technique with Essie nail polishes from the 2013 summer collection and I made some white patterns on the top.
Polishes I used :
Essie : Sunday Funday
Essie : Full Steam Ahead
Essie : The More the Merrier

Today, I take you for a trip to Tokyo! Maybe you have noticed it, I tried to change the way I take my pictures.. I’m not very satisfied lol. I tried to change the light and I think that I focused too much on my nails. I’m still trying to improve the way I take my pictures, this is what I like about blogging : we always try to improve ourself. Personally, I can note that my way to make nail art has improved. And I’m very happy about that! But anyway, let’s talk about the nails themselves. This nail art is inspired by Dahlia Nails. On my middle and pinky fingernails, I made three gold dots near my cuticles. On my index and ring fingernails, I made some black aztec patterns. I especially love my index fingernail.
Polishes I used :
Mavala : Tokyo
Maybelline : Gold All Night

I think that I will never be tired of this combo. Gradient and patterns will always have my heart! For this nail art, I put some random dots of nail polish on my sponge and I dabbed it on my nails. Then, I made some white patterns. I alterned vertical patterns with horizontal patterns. I think that the colors are well blended together.
Polishes I used :
Essie : Using my Maiden Name
Essie : My Better Half
OPI : Sparrow me the Drama
H&M : Peppermint Fusion
Kiko : n°270

Spring is here! Who says spring also says flowers, so voila! In the background, I made some grid patterns. On the grid patterns, I made flowers. This nail art is a negative space nail art so I’m aware that we see that my nails are not that white but like Simply Nailogical said it : yellow nails don’t matter! My nails are healthy, I swear. I wear nail polish like 99.9999999% of the time so it doesn’t matter that they are yellow.
Also, this nail art make me think about these things in front of my house.. You know, tutors which guide plants to allow them to grow. I have exactly that in front of my house, they are white and in a squared pattern.

I don’t really know what this design is, I would say that this is a kinda aztec design. On my index fingernail, I put a hot pink nail polish and near the cuticle I made a black dot. On my pinky fingernail, I put a yellow pastel and near the cuticle I made a black dot. On my middle and ring fingernails, I made this aztec design. This nail art is inspired by Rawritsnailart on Instagram.
