Now that it’s spring, it’s the perfect time to use pastel colors. I used yellow and pink pastel to make a gradient. On my index, middle and pinky fingernails, I used the saran wrap technique with a silver polish. On my ring fingernails, I did some chevrons.

This is the first time that I post a half moon manicure here and this is only the third time in my entire life that I do half moon nails. When I don’t have the time especially when I have exams or stuff like that, it’s impossible for me to have nails with no nail polish on so I do express manicure like half moon nails. For this half moon manicue, I used two shimmer nail polishes : gold & red. The light creates a sparkling effect on the nails, I like that.

It’s no secret that pink is my favorite color, so it’s always a pleasure to use it in my nail art. I used three different shades of pink to make a gradient. On the top of this gradient, I made some white patterns. So this is the best combo ever, isn’t it ?! My favorite color and my favorite design together, it can’t be anything else but perfect.

I’m back with a nail art inspired by Nailside. I followed her since I begun nail art. She always does amazing nail art with scotch tape but as I said in this post, scotch and me are not what we could called best friends. So when I saw that she made vertical patterns, I was like “wow, I can finally reproduce a nail art by Nailside!”. I’m kinda happy about these. These colors look good together and to be honest, I would never thought to associate them together.

Here we go again with a gradient and white patterns nail art! Why changing habits when they are good ? For this nail art, I used two Essie shades from their summer 2014 collection. I know, for the last mani I used cool colors which reminded us of winter and for this mani I used summer colors, the change is kinda sudden but hey climate change is a real thing and we can see it on my nails lol.
These two colors are looking very great together. Somebody at my school said that these two colors together reminded her of christmas… Well, this wasn’t what I wanted lol.

If I had to name this nail art, I would call it “Frozen”. And it’s completly appropriate with the current weather! I think that the “Frozen” effect is created by the glitters nail polish and the blue holographic nail polish that I added.
For this nail art, I used the dry brush technique. I swept different shades of blue and I added one coat of glitters nail polish on the top. And obviously, I couldn’t stop here! So, I made some vertical white patterns. This is fourth time that I post a nail art using the dry brush technique and I notice that I always make vertical patterns when I used the dry brush technique just before. I really think that dry brush technique and vertical patterns is a good combo!

Some triangles, again guys lol. For this mani, I made some triangles like in my last mani. On my middle & ring fingernails, I made a triangle with a nude color, I outlined the triangle with a blue nail polish. In the triangle, I made some stripes. On my index & pinky figernails, I made some blue triangles using scotch tape and I swear to anybody who is reading this that this is the last time that I’m using scotch for nail art. Before doing this nail art, I already knew that scotch and nail art is the worst combinaison for me but I don’t know while I was doing this nail art I said to myself : “let’s do some experiences!”. Some hours after, the scotch began to get off. And it was so difficult to cut triangles in the same shape and the same size. I swear, the scotch and me… never again!
