Accent nails are always here when you want a quick and beautiful manicure (ok I have to admit that no matter what nail art I’m doing, I’m slow anyway lol). This nail art reminds me of an other design that I did a loooooong time ago. I really think that black pattern on a white base and coloured polish on the other nails make a great combo.
So for this nail art, I did pattern using black polish on my ring fingernail and on the rest of my nails I put this beautiful polish from OPI. I bought this polish when I was in grade 10, it was the first time that I bought a full size bottle from this brand. What I love about OPI polishes is that you can keep them for many years and their consistency will still be good.

I normally do pattern on top of a gradient but I wanted to change for this nail art. I love how simple and sober my nails looks. But there is always this problem with glitter polish, why they’re not as sparkly as they are in the bottle ? Look at the glitter in the bottle! They are so sparkly and on my nails it looks so plain. I beg you dear polish brands, when you make polishes with glitter make sure we can actually see them on the nails because what’s the point of a glitter polish if we can’t see the glitter on the nails ? [Rant over lol] I remember the first time I used this nail polish, it was back in high school during my senior year and I was so disappointed because we couldn’t see the glitter. It needs like a lot of light for the glitter to be seen, it’s not like a carry the sun or a torch light with me lol. Jokes aside, the good glitter polish are those who are ALWAYS sparkly not just when there is a strong luminance.

I have some flowers and some (weird) dots for you!
This nail art is quite simple but my white polish was a little bit tricky to work with, that’s why my dots look so weird haha. For this nail art, I was inspired by La Paillette Frondeuse.

We say that opposites attract, right ? In this nail art, I used neon color and nude color together. They’re literally opposite but they suit each other so well. I think that the neon stands out thanks to the nude polish.
Polishes I used :
Sephora : Brazilian Sun
Yves Saint Laurent : n°41

We all need rainbows in our life, especially at this time! My god, I went to school this morning and the weather literally got me nostalgic about summer. This mix between rain and wind is the worst thing for my hair, they look messier than usual.
For this nail art I was inspired by Hannah Rox Nails on Youtube. My nails don’t look as good as hers but I’m happy with them. When I first saw her videos, I didn’t have any polish that I could use to create a tie-dye effect (but I do have highlighters lol). I was quite sad lol. I went to Sephora few days later and saw the Formula X’s Ombré Infinite set, I didn’t need to think twice to buy it lol. I was happy because I knew that I could finally reproduce Hannah Rox Nails’ nail art. This nail art is really easy to do but the finish look is so beautiful.
First, I applied a silver nail polish (the one in my hand). On the top of this silver nail polish, I put some silver glitter and finally I did a gradient using the sheer polishes from the set.
I feel like there is a ton of designs I can do with this Formula X’s set. Moreover, this set includes an illustrated, step-by-step tutorial for three looks but this is not these ones that I want to try. I really want to try to do water marble with these polishes. I read a review of this set on a blog which says that these polishes were perfect for water marble because they spread out well in the water. But I’m a little bit afraid to not be able to tame them because their textures are gelly and I’m yet to be a water marble master haha.
