Mani with no inspi ep 1 ~

I literally had no inspiration for this nail art so I did some stripes and flowers.
This manicure has valentine’s day vibes and since it’s very soon, it’s completely appropriate. I’m planning on posting more Valentine’s Day nail art but like more Anti Valentine’s Day ones so stay tuned for that.
Polishes I used :
Sephora : Cozy Morning
Sephora : Good Morning Lover
Maybelline : Pink Volt
Maybelline : Enduring Pink
Models Own : Apple Pie

*Insert cheesy “Empire State of Mind” lyrics* I’m here today for a throwback post. I went to New York last summer during the months of July and August for a summer session with my school so I did this mani because you know.. I’m extra. This nail art has been in my fold for a long time, it’s its time to shine. I’m proud of this mani so it would be a waste to not post it.
For this nail art, I did the iconic things from New York. First, a burger because this city is not really known for its healthy food. On my middle finger, I did the American flag. Then, I did buildings on my ring fingernail. You can literally break your neck by looking at all these buildings there. And finally, I did the “I Love NY” logo on my pinky fingernail. I used to love these shirts with “I Love NY” written on them when I was in high school even tho I never put a foot in New York back then.
I used “Coca-Cola Red” from the OPI and Coca-Cola collaboration and that’s funny because it’s literally the only thing I drank during this trip.
This nail art is inspired by the amazing Coewless.
Polishes I used :
OPI : Coca-Cola Red
OPI : Yoga-ta Get This Blue
OPI : The “IT” Color

It’s a freaking stressed girl that is writing this post today. I’m starting my internship tomorrow and I’m so afraid.
So about the nail art itself, I did a geometric design using Une Beauty nail polish. They are an organic make up brand. Apparently, they shutted down and that’s a shame. There are not really much organic brands out there that sell nail polishes formulated with natural ingredients. Some brands I can think of are Kure Bazaar, Manucurist and Avril. I hope that bigger nail polish brands would rethink their formula to be more environnement-friendly and cruetly free too.
This manicure is inspired by AmyyTran on Instagram.
Polishes I used :
Une : C14
Essie : Udon Know Me
Essie : Garden Variety
Modelite : F40

The festive season is officially over and this mani is here to remind you this hard truth.
To begin this new year, I have decided to post this colorful nail art done with this vibrant green from Essie. It’s the first nail polish from the “Gel Couture” line that I own. When I first saw the news on Twitter that they would start to sell twirling bottle, I was disappointed. I didn’t find it beautiful at first but after seeing it irl, I kinda like it. When I saw this pretty Essie nail polish on sale (because I’m a broke bitch but I have to satisfy my addiction anyway) at Sephora (aka heaven), I picked it up without thinking. The color is gorgeous but it’s not made for everyone (it might be why it was on sale but that’s cool I will buy all the unwanted polishes).
For this nail art, I did pink flowers. Nothing too fancy but always great when you want to do something quick and easy.
Polishes I used :
Essie : Take a Walk
Essie : Status Symbol
Formula X : Hercules

HAPPY NEW YEAR Y’ALL! Hope this year bring you happiness and everything you wish for.
I decided to do a sparkly and glittery mani hoping (not too much tho I don’t want to be disappointed) 2019 will be not that bad. What’s sure is that 2019 will be filled of colorful nail art since it’s something I’m not that bad at lol.
So for the nail art itself, I just wrote the year on my index fingernail. I did a clock on my middle fingernail. I have to say that I love it, I did the clock pretty well. I did some champagne glasses on my ring fingernail which is ironic since I don’t drink alcohol but it was to be in the theme. And on the pinky fingernail, I did bubbles as I did on the other nails.
Dear 2018, thank u next bitch!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Here’s my last christmas mani of the year to close this special nail art serie.
For this nail art, I did a gingerbread man and a holly branch. I’m so devoted to my art (lol) that I actually bought this green polish to do this mani. I saw this design by Nailsuponatime on Instagram and wanted to recreate it so when I went shopping with my best friend, I bought a sparkly green polish because I didn’t have one at least I thought so… Now that I think of it, I might have a similar polish from Kiko but I couldn’t put my hands on it yet so we will just pretend that I was right for buying a new polish.
I used to love Hema polishes so much when I was in high school mostly because it was one of the only brands I could buy back in the days. I have to say that the quality is really good for the price. Most of the polishes that I bought years ago are still good to use.
Polishes I used :
Hema : Striking Green
NCLA : Cinnamon Girl
Claire’s : Beige
Sephora : Sugar Coated
Mavala : Red Diamond
Nailmatic : Grazia
Bourjois : Beige Distinction

I’m continuing this christmas nail art serie with a candy cane watermarble. This watermarble the one I did 2 years ago using only Primark polishes. This post is an upgrade one, I feel like I’m getting better to watermarble.
When I did this nail art, I didn’t use liquid latex to protect my skin and no need to say it was a mess. My parents (who don’t usually pay attention to my nails) were like : “wtf is going on with your nails?”. My skin was literally covered in red polish and I didn’t clean everything right after doing my nails. I was literally walking around my house with red hands. After litre of polish remover and multiple Q-tips, I have managed to reachieve a normal skin.
For this watermarble, I used OPI Adam Said “It’s New Year’s, Eve”… again! This polish is THE polish of christmas. I also used OPI “Sweet Heart”.
Polishes I used :
OPI : Adam Said “It’s New Year’s, Eve”

Another christmas nail art, *Dj Khaled’s voice* another one!
For this nail art, I did a plaid design using OPI Adam Said “It’s New Year’s, Eve” like in my last christmas nail art. It’s a nail polish from their 2017 holiday collection “Love OPI, xoxo” so it’s the perfect red for christmas nail art.
This mani is inspired by TheBusyNails on Instagram.

OPI : Up Front & Personal

Ya girl is busy with finals but she posts anyway. I really wanted to post this mani because it's quite special to me. I realized that I never did a design inspired of a song when I'm huuuuge fan of music. I was scrolling through Instagram the other day and I saw the nail art that BadGirlNails did for the release of Ariana Grande’s new music video and I knew had to give it a try.
So this nail art inspired by Ariana Grande's music video "Thank U, Next". No, I ain't grateful for my ex because I have none of them. I got 99 problems but love ain't one, I guess. Even though I didn't relate to this part of the song, its message really did speak to me. I like the idea that we can be grateful for the good AND for the bad. I'm grateful for the people I crossed path with, for the experiences I lived and for all the emotions I ever feel. I realize that when I reflect on the past especially on the bad, I tend to focus on the things I learned from that.
I guess whatever happens, you just have to brush it off and keep shining.
Thank U, next bitch!

Here I am jumping on the christmas nail art bandwagon. I won’t lie to you, I’m pretty proud of this mani. At first, I just wanted to do a red french with gold bows but my extra ass thought that it wasn’t enough festive so I drew plaid to make it more chrismassy.
Polishes I used :

Lazy me back with a lazy mani. When I don’t know what to do on my nails, I just do a glitter gradient. It’s quick and pretty.
This nail art is just a reversed version of this one. Btw, I love the glitter polish that I used in this mani, it’s Essie “Set in Stones”.
Polishes I used :
Essie : Groom Service
