The sequence of Valentine's Day and Lunar New Year was intense for my nails lol. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with my Valentine's Day nail art but it is for the good cause! I always love doing Lunar New Year nails, it's my way of celebrating my culture with something I'm good at (or not bad at least lol).

Can the As card bring me luck for 2026 ? We can hope so! Also the red color is important during celebrations in Vietnam : Têt, birthdays, weddings... During Têt, it supposed to bring you luck so I guess this nail art really can work as a lucky charm.

Glitter together it can't go wrong! I love how this nail art turned out, it was a little bit tough to do because some polishes were a little bit dried out but I came through this and it worth it!

The second new year day of the year for us East Asians is around the corner aka the second start if the first one was a fail lol.

I'm really proud of this nail art, I feel like the last one I did for lunar new year was not that great. 

This year will be the snake year and apparently it will be a good year for the sign of the rat (me) according to my mom lol. So let's see !

Glitter for new year manis is a must. I used some star strass to write 2025 and I added random dots using some glittery nail polishes.

Tartan is a winter classic especially on scarfs. I don't think I ever did tartan on all my nails. And because I always have to add an extra little thing, I did a bow on my ring fingernail.

I remember this nail art coming from a fail lol. I did an aura gradient at first but didn't know what to do with it so I changed plan. I think the design turned out great for something I improvised lol.

I don't really know how to feel about this nail art. I don't like it but I don't hate it either lol. I'm not convinced by the embroidered flowers I tried to do on my pointer and fingernails. But to finish on a positive note, I have to say that overall the colors really go well together.

I GOT MY EYES ON YOU ~

I visited Greece some months ago with a friend, we were in Athens to be precise. We didn't really like the city, it's not what we expected when we booked our flight lol. When we think about Greece, we automatically think about the Greek Islands, and Athens doesn't really compare to them. But we had a good time anyway and also visited the some islands. 

Obviously, Greece means Evil Eyes. I had to do them on my nails.

Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate it! I wish you prosperity, health and everything you're longing for. This year, we celebrate the year of the Wood Dragon and obviously I had to draw a dragon on my nails. So I did... and failed miserably lol. At least, I tried lol. It kinda looks like a snake, a cobra... we don't really know. I do like the lantern tho. I don't know if these nails are gonna stay long especially with Valentine's Day coming.

This year is the year of the cat for the Vietnamese so the idea for this lunar new year was pretty obvious. So I did a lucky cat on my middle fingernail. On my ring fingernail, I drew things that are representative of Têt : the lantern, the red envelope (money!), the clementine for good luck and the firecracker. And I did glitter placement using gold and red on my pointer and pinky fingernails. It seems like glitter placement are my thing for new year manicures lol.
