PINK FAIL ~

This not a complete fail but I can't unsee the scary eye I drew myself on my ring fingernail lol. I don't know how I didn't see it when I finished my nail art. I would have done it over. How did I fail to do an eye when I do it quite often ? lol.

CHEVRONS & TRIANGLES ON PASTEL ~

I wasn’t going for that design in the beginning but I’m pretty satisfied with the result. This nail art was very easy to do.

I did some pastel chevrons on a black base for my pointer and middle fingernails. For my ring and pinky fingernails, I used the dry brush technique for the background with the same pastel colors and I did some black triangles and chevrons.

HAPPY EASTER ! ~

At first, I wasn’t quite sure about the chevrons but I like how the mani turned out. I find it really cute.

So I did chevrons on my pointer, middle and pinky fingernails using pastel colors then I did a little chick as an accent nail.

EARLY CHRISTMAS ~

I feel like this mani could be perfect for christmas especially because I used red and gold together. Btw, speaking of christmas, I will be posting only christmas related nail art during all the month of december. I don’t know if I will top 2019 christmas but I will try lol. I really liked the designs I did last year.

For this nail art, I didn’t really have a plan. I just took a red and a gold polish and drew random patterns. It kinda turned cool lol.

Polishes I used :

Sally Hansen : Red-Handed

Essie : Getting Groovy

COLORFUL CHEVRONS ~

Here’s a quick and easy mani. I really like it! I did some chevrons on my middle fingernail. On my pointer and pinky fingernails I put the colors I used for the chevrons and mixed them together. I have to say that those 2 nails looked better irl lol. Finally, I put a silver glitter polish on my ring fingernail.

This nail art was inspired by VictoriaNails on Tumblr.

VALENTINE’S DAY IN OCTOBER ? ~

This is not really the spooky fall nail art that you could except during this time of the year. It’s more a romantic nail art perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Don’t get me wrong, I really hate Valentine’s Day lol but for some reasons I end up doing manis that would be perfect for this celebration. I for sure like this nail art more than I like Valentine’s Day lol.

This nail art was inspired by VictoriaNails on Tumblr.

I will be more active here and post everyday because guess what COVID hasn’t disappear yet and we have to be on lockdown again so yay! Posting on a daily basis was part of my routine during the first lockdown in march so I’m glad to do it again.

TIE-DYE ~

Tie-dye is definitely on trend right now so I had to do it on my nails. I will probably not incorporate tie-dye in my outfits so I guess the nails are less risky lol.

To do this nail art, I mixed each color with a clear polish to create a glazed finish.

This design wasn’t actually what I wanted to do but I’m happy with what I came up with.

Polishes I used :

Essie : All The Wave

Essie : Mojito Madness

PASTEL PANTONE ~

These nails remind me of Pantone but it wasn’t the real inspiration behind this mani. I was inspired by a picture that OneNailToRuleThemAll posted on her Instagram.

This mani is quite simple, I love how minimalist it is. I particularly like my pointer fingernail.

SIMPLICITY IS KEY ~

Chevrons are really an oldie but a goodie of mine. It’s a design that I really liked doing back in the days. I guess I still can do them! I really like how they turned out, they look like I used some stencils but I swear they’re handed-painted!. Btw, it’s probably one of the most common things people assume about my nails. They think that I use stencils or stickers even for really detailed nail art. It kinda makes me mad lol. Like you spend hours on your nails for people to say that you use stickers.

Polishes I used :

OPI : Samoan Sand

Essie : Après-Chic

Ciaté : Cosmic Love

Maybelline : Foil Flash

I’m not sure of this color combo lol. I was inspired by a picture of a phone case that I found on Tumblr. This is the proof that you can find inspiration literally everywhere but I sometimes struggle with inspiration. I really do consider nail art as an art and every art needs inspiration. Sometimes, I don’t know what to do on my nails and it frustrates me so much. What I love about nail art is that if you see a pattern on a shirt or whatever that you love, you can recreate it on your nails and carry your art wherever you go since the nails are the canvas.
This nail art is really easy. I just did some chevrons on my ring fingernail. Then I applied “Steady As She Rose” by OPI on my pointer fingernail, “Trout Pout” by Butter London on my middle fingernail and “V.I.P” by PS on my pinky fingernail.
Polishes I used :
Butter London : Trout Pout
OPI : Steady As She Rose

Hello awkward hand pose! Super long nails + mini polish bottle = awkward hand pose. Anyway, let’s talk about the nail art itself. So, I did chevrons on my ring fingernail and I used silver glitter polish to do a gradient on the rest of my nails.
I like this nail art way less than the other mani I did using “Let’s Be Friends!” by OPI. Instead of the chevrons, I did a bow on my ring fingernail.
Polishes I used :
OPI : Let’s Be Friends!
OPI : In True Stefani Fashion
Revlon : Silver Dollar

My love for the pink color has no limit. Like in my last post, I used pink for this mani… AGAIN. So, I put pink polish on my index and pinky fingernails. On my middle fingernail, I did some dots and flowers. I should have did the flowers bigger, they are tiny lol. On my ring fingernail, I did chevrons and let me tell you that I’m really proud of them lol.

Can you guess what I’m presenting you today ? Yes, a nail art! What a surprise for a nail art blog haha.
This nail art is cute, I think. And not difficult to do. I did some flowers on my index and pinky fingernails and some chevrons on my middle fingernail. On my ring fingernail, I put this beautiful polish from Zoya.
I was inspired by La Paillette Frondeuse for this nail art.
Also, don’t miss my next post! It will be a special valentine’s day nail art. I know you don’t want to miss that!

This manicure reminds of cotton candy. These colors are so beautiful together! So for this nail art, I did nothing really complicated. I did some chevrons on my middle and ring fingernails and triangles near my cuticles on my pointer and pinky fingernails.
Polishes I used :
Bourjois : Pink-itude
Maybelline : Uptown Blue

Some chevrons… again! Like in my previous post, I did chevrons for my ring fingernails. I like doing them as an accent nail. I did waterfall nail art on my other fingernails. The silver and the red look good together, I think.

Deborah Milano : n°87

I have to say that I’m not a big fan of gradients using white but this one is not that bad, I think. This manicure kinda reminds me of Tiffany’s. The mint color is emblematic of this brand. The silver glitter make me think of the jewels and the white of the bows that are on the boxes.
I did a vertical gradient using white and mint on my index, middle and pinky fingernails then I added some silver glitter on them. I did mint chevrons on my ring fingernail.
This nail art is inspired by Victoria’s Nails on Tumblr.

Bourjois : Blue Lagoon
