Mani with no inspi ep 2 ~
The inspiration was really not my friend for this nail art. For the base of this design, I used the jelly sandwich which is a really old and easy nail art technique. To do it, I just put glitter polish on my nails then I used a sheer polish over. On the top of this jelly sandwich, I did stripes using metallic polishes.

HOLO EVERYWHERE ~
This mani is quite simple but the holo make it special.
I’m still in the hunt for the perfect silver holo polish. I tried one from Nails Inc., Essence, Kiko and this one from Ciaté. They’re ok but not incredible.

Happy Galentine’s Day to all the independant women out there !
We don’t care about love, relationship and feelings on this page. We care about self love, body positivity and hustling hard. Remember that you don’t need another person to complete you. You’re not a puzzle piece, you are complete by yourself.
So for this Valentine’s Day, I have decided to do broken hearts on my nails. That is so dramatic lol. I actually kept that nail art one day because I really hated it. It didn’t turned out the way I wanted to. My co-workers were so shook because I changed my nails from one day to another. Monday I had this mani and tuesday I had a different designs on my nails.
I thought about giving you some songs to listen to while you enjoy your own company so here we go :
JENNIE - SOLO
Tori Kelly - Dear No One
Carly Rae Jepsen - Party For One
Olivia O’Brien - Love Myself
Polishes I used :
L’Oréal : Dimanche Après-Midi

I have a geometric nail art for you. It’s not a kind of designs that I do very often but I like how challenging those can be. I really like the combo of colors that I used.
I was inspired by ThisIsVenice on Instagram for this nail art. And like she would say : I GOT PIMPED.

Mani with no inspi ep 1 ~

I literally had no inspiration for this nail art so I did some stripes and flowers.

*Insert cheesy “Empire State of Mind” lyrics* I’m here today for a throwback post. I went to New York last summer during the months of July and August for a summer session with my school so I did this mani because you know.. I’m extra. This nail art has been in my fold for a long time, it’s its time to shine. I’m proud of this mani so it would be a waste to not post it.
For this nail art, I did the iconic things from New York. First, a burger because this city is not really known for its healthy food. On my middle finger, I did the American flag. Then, I did buildings on my ring fingernail. You can literally break your neck by looking at all these buildings there. And finally, I did the “I Love NY” logo on my pinky fingernail. I used to love these shirts with “I Love NY” written on them when I was in high school even tho I never put a foot in New York back then.
I used “Coca-Cola Red” from the OPI and Coca-Cola collaboration and that’s funny because it’s literally the only thing I drank during this trip.
This nail art is inspired by the amazing Coewless.

OPI : Coca-Cola Red

It’s a freaking stressed girl that is writing this post today. I’m starting my internship tomorrow and I’m so afraid.
So about the nail art itself, I did a geometric design using Une Beauty nail polish. They are an organic make up brand. Apparently, they shutted down and that’s a shame. There are not really much organic brands out there that sell nail polishes formulated with natural ingredients. Some brands I can think of are Kure Bazaar, Manucurist and Avril. I hope that bigger nail polish brands would rethink their formula to be more environnement-friendly and cruetly free too.
This manicure is inspired by AmyyTran on Instagram.

Une : C14
Essie : Udon Know Me
Essie : Garden Variety

The festive season is officially over and this mani is here to remind you this hard truth.
To begin this new year, I have decided to post this colorful nail art done with this vibrant green from Essie. It’s the first nail polish from the “Gel Couture” line that I own. When I first saw the news on Twitter that they would start to sell twirling bottle, I was disappointed. I didn’t find it beautiful at first but after seeing it irl, I kinda like it. When I saw this pretty Essie nail polish on sale (because I’m a broke bitch but I have to satisfy my addiction anyway) at Sephora (aka heaven), I picked it up without thinking. The color is gorgeous but it’s not made for everyone (it might be why it was on sale but that’s cool I will buy all the unwanted polishes).
For this nail art, I did pink flowers. Nothing too fancy but always great when you want to do something quick and easy.
Polishes I used :
Essie : Take a Walk
Essie : Status Symbol
Formula X : Hercules

HAPPY NEW YEAR Y’ALL! Hope this year bring you happiness and everything you wish for.
I decided to do a sparkly and glittery mani hoping (not too much tho I don’t want to be disappointed) 2019 will be not that bad. What’s sure is that 2019 will be filled of colorful nail art since it’s something I’m not that bad at lol.
So for the nail art itself, I just wrote the year on my index fingernail. I did a clock on my middle fingernail. I have to say that I love it, I did the clock pretty well. I did some champagne glasses on my ring fingernail which is ironic since I don’t drink alcohol but it was to be in the theme. And on the pinky fingernail, I did bubbles as I did on the other nails.
Dear 2018, thank u next bitch!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Here’s my last christmas mani of the year to close this special nail art serie.
For this nail art, I did a gingerbread man and a holly branch. I’m so devoted to my art (lol) that I actually bought this green polish to do this mani. I saw this design by Nailsuponatime on Instagram and wanted to recreate it so when I went shopping with my best friend, I bought a sparkly green polish because I didn’t have one at least I thought so… Now that I think of it, I might have a similar polish from Kiko but I couldn’t put my hands on it yet so we will just pretend that I was right for buying a new polish.
I used to love Hema polishes so much when I was in high school mostly because it was one of the only brands I could buy back in the days. I have to say that the quality is really good for the price. Most of the polishes that I bought years ago are still good to use.
Polishes I used :
Hema : Striking Green
NCLA : Cinnamon Girl
Claire’s : Beige
Sephora : Sugar Coated
Mavala : Red Diamond
Nailmatic : Grazia
Bourjois : Beige Distinction
