HEART POWER ~

The rule is “Valentine’s Day nail art are ok except on Valentine’s Day” lol. I guess it’s like that when you like love aesthetic but not love itself lol. That’s probably why I love rom com and love songs so much.

This design is pretty popular at the moment for nails, clothes, decoration... So I really wanted to try it on my nails. I think I did a pretty good job!

WHEN THE INSPIRATION IS MISSING ~

I was really out of idea for this lol. I wasn’t going for this at first but you know sometimes plan failed so I improvised this and well this is not a success either.

I did some flowers on my middle and ring fingernails. Then I did a sort of watercolor effect on my pointer and pinky fingernails using the same colors than for the flowers.

CHERRY CHERRY BOOM BOOM ~

Here’s the perfect spring nail art! It will make you want to do a picnic in a prairie. I did gingham pattern on my pointer. fingernail, cherries on my middle fingernail, bows on my ring fingernail and dots on my pinky fingernail. What better than a polish called “Be Cherry” to draw cherries lol ?

This kind of mix’n’match design is completely what I liked to do when I first started nail art. I did a similar mani some months ago but honestly that was kinda a fail especially for the gingham design. Every now and then, I love to go back to my first loves, the things I used to do when I was a newbie in the nail art world.

I rarely use as little colors than for this nail art. I like colorful and over the top designs lol. But some sobriety can’t hurt at time.

I think that I found my new fave nude polish. I really like this one from Maybelline.

As you probably know (if not then I’m happy to inform you that you’re living under rock), Olivia Rodrigo dropped her debut album on Friday May 21st “Sour” and boy that album is great, especially for a debut album. It’s been a while since I enjoyed a debut album like that, the last being “Camila” by Camila Cabello (yes I’m a pop music junky). 

The lyrics are really good, some of them left me shook like who hurt you girl!!!!! (we all know who is it). My fav songs are : “brutal”, “traitor”, “drivers license”, “deja vu”, “good 4 u”, “happier” and “jealousy, jealousy”. That girl really got me missing an ex I never had lol. 

“brutal” is definitely the song I relate to the most. Even tho she’s talking about her teenage years, the lyrics are also valid for people in their twenties I think. People always talk about the fact that these years are supposed to be the best when we have it tough. Adulthood is definitely brutal lol. This song would have been my anthem when I was teenager lol.

For the nail art, I was inspired by the cover of the album and by the mural her team put together in London to promote the album. I really like the aesthetic of the album with the stickers.

It’s tea time! I have a full English type of nail art for you! I did some gingham (that I once though was called tartan) on my pointer and pinky fingernails. I’m pretty proud of them. And I did pink flowers on my middle and ring fingernails which I am proud of too lol. Globally, I really like this mani! I feel like soft green like this Essie polish is really on trend right now. I really like this color.

ARTSY TROPIC ~

This nail art feels like summer! It’s a lil early I know lol. I did negative space designs. I don’t do them often because I’m shy about my naked nails lol. They can be yellow sometimes. They look good there I think. Also, I feel like I’m getting better at drawing these kind of plants. They’re not that easy to do I swear.
